Dear Jack & Helen,
From my first contact with Fig jam photographers, I knew we were going to have a great time & get some excellent photographs taken.
Jack advised me that he doesn’t take the standard studio portraits nor has anywhere in particular that he does the portraits. You were genuinely interested in us as a family, not as just another portrait sitting. Jack asked me what our lifestyle consisted of & what activities we enjoyed doing together in our spare time, it was entirely up to us as to the style & location of our sitting. He gave me some ideas on where he had taken photographs previously & that is when I decided a beach theme would be great. Helen gave me ideas on what colours would look great in our photographs.
We decided the Jetty Beach in Coffs Harbour would be a great location as we can get some nice shots sitting under the jetty, as well as on the beach & in the water. I was expecting to have to sit & pose for various shots, however it was nothing like that at all. My husband & I played with our 2 year daughter whilst Jack took the pictures. We played in the sand, ran & walked along the beach, sat under the Jetty & played in the water. It was so much fun & the photographs were fantastic!!
We would & have recommended you to others wanting to get some great family portraits.

We used Fig Jam to do some portrait photos that my family had wanted done. Neither of us really like having our photo taken and had absolutely no idea how we wanted the shots constructed. Not to worry, Jack and Helen came to us and made the whole process really easy. We were both relaxed and comfortable during the shots so the end result was what we wanted. I am writing this testimonial after having photos taken by Fig Jam Photography.
I wanted some unique, relaxed, professional photos of my two teenage girls and myself. I wasn’t disappointed. Jack suggested a setting where we would feel comfortable and casual clothes for the same reason. I chose a creek in the rainforest. Jack knew the perfect spot. Both my girls are beautiful and I knew if they were happy and relaxed all would fall into place. Unfortunately, like many teenage girls, my youngest decided to be in a mood this day. Jack was not put off by this setback. His easy, pleasant manner continued and he encouraged my other daughter to entertain her when he took photos. Her manner tempered and he got some great shots. We all felt at ease and the photos turned out great. Not your usual stiff shots in front of a painted backdrop, but unique beautiful works of art.

I don't think I can rate Jack, Helen and Figjam Photography highly enough and I hope I get to shout from the rooftops to everyone how great the experience was and just how happy I am with the outcome. I’m not easily pleased when it comes to photos of myself and you made the night interesting and fun and I was comfortable which I think really shows in my pictures. I love that they are completely different from the average everyday studio shots and the photos will serve me very well in any professional marketing campaign Bizaus do.
